Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to fast-tracking development projects across various sectors of Islamabad, with a special focus on completing long-pending initiatives.
During a high-level meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the CDA Headquarters, senior board members and officials reviewed the progress of key projects.
It was revealed that development work in Sector C-14 is proceeding as planned, with roads, drainage, and sewage systems expected to be completed within the next two months. Chairman Randhawa expressed confidence that the sector’s development would be finalized ahead of schedule. He also directed officials to ensure the timely handover of plots to allottees upon payment of final installments.

To enhance transparency, the chairman instructed officials to keep allottees informed about project progress via the CDA website and other communication channels. He also emphasized the need to accelerate arrangements for electricity and other essential utilities in Sector C-14. In a step toward sustainable development, he proposed installing modern solar-powered streetlights in the sector.
The meeting also addressed long-standing delays in Sector E-12, with Randhawa instructing officials to remove all obstacles and commence work immediately. Meanwhile, progress in Sector I-12 was reported to be nearing completion, marking a significant milestone in Islamabad’s infrastructure development.
To ensure effective execution, Chairman Randhawa directed the Member Engineering and Member Estate to conduct site visits to Sector C-14 and oversee the provision of civic facilities.
