Multan: Multan Commissioner Iftikhar Ali has approved development funds for three projects, including construction of road that will connect Jail Morr with Nawaz Sharif Agricultural University, a news source reported.

Other projects include construction of two new building blocks in Government Emerson College, and provision of basic facilities for Science College. The provincial government had recently allocated funds worth PKR 470 million for these projects.

According to details, the road project to connect Jail Morr with the agricultural university will cost approximately 180 million. Construction of two new building blocks in the Government Emerson College will cost about PKR 160 million. These two-storey tall blocks will include new classrooms, lecture theatres, staffrooms, and seminar rooms.

The city administration will spend PKR 120 million on construction of Science College’s boundary wall, laboratories, upgrade its main entrance, and construct six new classrooms.
