Lahore: The construction work at the Twin Towers at Jail Road will begin soon, a news source quoted the Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s Director General Zahid Akhtar Zaman. For this purpose, the prequalification process for contractors has also been completed, he added.
The 25-storey tall towers will be completed at an estimated cost of PK 3.8 billion, on an area spanning 20 kanals. The construction of these towers will be done according to international standards, said Zaman.
Talking about the status of other development projects in Lahore, he said that the project for the expansion of Lahore Canal Road from Harbanspura to Upper Mall is in its final stages, while work at the Chaubucha Phatak underpasses on both sides of the Canal Road has already been completed.
