Mingora: Local representatives have requested the government to develop Gabin Jabba as a ski resort – a news source report.
They made the announcement at the concluding ceremony of the Lalku Skiing competition. Pioneer Sports and Ski School, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ski Association organised the contest at Lalku Gabin Jabba.

KP Ski Association chairman Matiullah Khan, district sports officer Hazratullah Khattak, district youth councillor Maqsood Ali Khan, and political activist Abdullah Khan attended the ceremony.
The organisers were of the view that Swat hosts some of the most amazing tourist attractions in the country. They said that several ski resorts adhering to international standards should be developed inside the picturesque valley.

Matiullah Khan said that the slope of Gain Jabba makes it a better skiing location than Malam Jabba. He added that the local representatives need the government’s support for furthering the initiative.
He further stated that the competition is aimed at promoting Lalku Gabin Jabba. He said that these developments will attract international skiers and send a message of peace.
