Lahore: Senior Punjab Minister Aleem Khan expressed the government’s welcoming inclination towards the development of economic and industrial zones by foreign companies, according to a news source. He made these statements while speaking to a group of representatives from foreign companies on the 25th of October. Khan also firmly stated that foreign investment for provincial development was welcome, but these funds would not be used by the government.
He also stated that the ultimate goal of this investment should be the benefit of the people, along with reasonable profits, as foreign investors can play a vital role in uplifting less developed areas of the province. He also added that the foreign investors will be given full security and cooperation so that they can feel safe about their investment.
