Sheikhupura: The Punjab Chief Minister has approved development funds worth PKR 247.5 million for District Sheikhupura for the year 2017-18, according to a news source. The amount will be spent on 195 development projects.
The union council meeting was presided over by the Union Council Vice Chairman, Jahanzaib Khan. Under the first phase of development, PKR 240 million will be spent on development of underdeveloped and far-flung areas of the district. Among these projects, seven development projects have been replaced on the request of the members. The approved fund is for the 99 union councils of the district.
