Lahore: The development charges for the LDA City file holders have been halved and the collection of the same will begin soon – a news source reported. LDA Vice Chairman S M Imran made an announcement to thus effect during a meeting of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) officials, which was held to review the progress on development work in the said residential project.

He directed the development partners to expedite the land-acquisition process for the LDA City. He stressed on the need to complete the said project as per the deadline set by the Supreme Court (SC); adding that allotting plots to file holders was the authority’s top priority.

Major (retired) Burhan Ali, Engineer Amir Riaz Qureshi, LDA Director General Muhammad Usman Moazzam, Urban Planning Additional Director General Rana Tikka Khan, Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan, along with the development partners of LDA City Imran Ali Bhatti, Mian Tahir Javed, Abdur Rashid, Altaf Malik and Zafar Chishti were all present at the occasion.
