Currently, the RDA is engaged with three mega infrastructural development projects, which include the RRR, the Leh Expressway, and the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Circular Railway Project. The development of these projects is expected to improve the city’s traffic situation and the socio-economic conditions of its residents. As per RDA sources, these projects are estimated to be completed in the next three years.
The authority will provide logistic and technical support to the firms engaged in conducting the development work on the aforementioned projects. Reportedly, the authority has tasked the experts working on these projects to complete the spadework by the end of 2020.
