It is vital to remember that Pakistan generates the bulk of its power from fossil fuels, which causes environmental degradation and the current account deficit (CAD) because of overreliance on imported fuel. The government recently decided to initiate a 10,000-megawatt solar energy project to promote resilience and sustainability.
