Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated the long-pending demarcation of the Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP), according to news published on August 7.

As per the details, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) directed the civic agency to demarcate the boundaries of Margalla Hills National Park within 60 days. Recently, the civic agency commenced the installation of boundary pillars in Sinyari, concurrent with the Survey of Pakistan’s efforts to identify the accurate boundaries.

A CDA official (whose name was not disclosed) revealed that this process involves continuous work, with pillars to be installed as soon as the Survey of Pakistan finalizes the locations. The CDA has placed approximately 150 pillars in Sinyari, and the intention is to complete the entire task within a span of two months.
