Gujar Khan: Gujra Khan Assistance Commissioner (AC) Ghulam Mustafa has taken notice of delays in the sewerage line project, reported a news source. The delay in this project has caused rainwater to flood the streets.
Public Health Department launched the PKR 30 million project two years ago. AC Mustafa called the Health Department sub divisional officer and engineers to inquire about the delays. The officer briefed the AC on the project’s development. The Health Department will drain the rainwater and resume the project once funds are issued.
To help avoid any more inconvenience to the public, Mustafa instructed the officers to resume work on the project immediately. Responding to the orders, the concerned officers affirmed that project will be resumed as soon as the rainwater is drained.
Reportedly, the stagnant rain and sewerage water on streets in Gujar Khan Scheme 1 is causing commute problems in the area.
