Multan: Multan Development Authority (MDA) Director General (DG) Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas on Sunday inaugurated a dedicated desk facility for the construction sector-related inquiries at the MDA office, according to a news report published on June 21.

The said facility is set up at the one-window cell in the MDA office and will facilitate people to obtain complete property certification, private housing societies’ map approvals and land conversions.
Reportedly, this dedicated desk at MDA is aimed to promote Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s vision to promote the construction industry. As per the fixed new time frame for this dedicated desk, citizens will be able to get complete property certificates within a month. Similarly, applications related to conversion or commercialisation of domestic properties will be resolved in 45 days and layout plans of private housing societies’ will be approved within 60 days.

Speaking to the inaugural assemblage, the authority’s director general issued directions for the strict adherence to the government-sanctioned standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent the coronavirus spread.
