Dashti emphasized that the untapped potential of Gwadar Port must now be fully leveraged, noting that this step should have been taken much earlier. He expressed optimism that regular port operations would unlock new economic opportunities and strengthen Pakistan’s maritime trade capacity.
The business community and residents of Gwadar and Balochistan have widely appreciated the decision, seeing it as a major boost for local industries and job creation. A fully operational port is expected to stimulate trade, attract investment, and drive long-term prosperity in the region.
