Islamabad: The Interior Ministry has shared the deadline for the completion of the 10th Avenue and PKR 1,480 million has been released for the project during the last fiscal year, according to news published in the national dailies on September 8.

As per the details, the construction work on 10th Avenue started in March this year. The project is expected to be completed within 21 months. According to the sources, the project will be completed by the end of 2023.

Moreover, the contract for Phase 1, worth PKR 10.286 billion, has been awarded to National Logistics Cell (NLC). The total length of 10th Avenue is 8.2-kilometre, while phase 1 will include a 5-kilometre road, starting from IJP Road to Srinagar Highway. The news sources informed that PKR 1,473.96 million has been incurred, out of total funds, on different heads in the previous financial year.
