Hyderabad: The Supreme Court-mandated commission on water quality and sanitation has decided to give industries a deadline of 10 days for any dues to the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA), according to a news source. This step was taken after Justice Amir Hani Muslim visited the area and expressed his concern about the pace of work on water issues and effluent plants.
Muslim was told that there were issues with payment from industries, so the work was duly affected. He stressed to WASA officials that all dues must be recovered by them within 10 days, and requests for proposals opened on October 25.
