Islamabad: The deadline for the submission of forms for Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) has been extended, a news source reported. Now, the forms can be submitted until 21st January, 2019.

National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) representative Faiq Ali speaking on the matter stated that people looking for homes in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Muzaffarabad, Swat, Sukkur, Quetta, and Gilgit can submit their forms at designated district and NADRA offices.

In a related news, Punjab Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed announced the beginning of construction work on at least 12,000 low-cost residential units. The construction will begin in Lodhran, Chishtian and Renala Khurd next month. Applications to this effect will be received till January 10.

The government plans to construct five million affordable residential units in five years under NPHP. Another 10,000 residential units will be completed by June 2019 under the same project. Akhuwat Foundation has collaborated with the government on this project.
