Lahore: Upon the insistence of masses and highly-encouraging reception of the initiative, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has extended the deadline for the submission of application for LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments, according to a notice published on the official Facebook page of the institution.
LDA has reported that over 11 thousand applications were submitted for participation in the ballot of the apartments. Keeping in view the overwhelmingly positive reception, LDA has decided to extend the deadline till April 12. The previous deadline for the existing government employees with monthly salary of PKR 50,000 (after deductions) for submitting their applications for the apartment units was April 8. With the said extension, the applications will be submittable till 11 pm of the same day.
Interested persons can apply online through the Bank of Punjab’s official website. The form available there is to be filled and printed to be submitted at the bank’s nearest branch with a processing fee of PKR 500.
According to a related announcement made by LDA Vice Chairman S M Imran, the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is expected to perform the groundbreaking of these apartments today (April 9).
