Quetta: The management of the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Smart City Phase I has issued a reminder for its members to submit their first down payment before the communicated deadline expires – which is tomorrow (June 23), according to the society’s official Facebook page. Those failing to do so may be at risk of losing their plots.

The development of the society’s infrastructure is currently underway on an expedited basis. The society has also issued tenders for the construction of DHA Quetta Smart City Expressway that waves around the sectors A, B, C and D.
The initial deadline for payment of first down payment was April 14, which was then extended to May 30 to facilitate the people amid government-imposed coronavirus lockdown. The project has also announced a reduction in the first down payment – from 10% to 8% – for residential plots and for farmhouses, it was reduced to 16% from 20%.
