In case of failure to submit the owed amounts, the allotment of the plots will be forfeited as per the conditions and terms outlined in the authority’s exemption letter. Moreover, LDA announced last month that it needs PKR 6 to PKR 9 billion to complete development work in the housing project. To acquire these funds, the authority decided to procure a PKR 5 billion loan from the Bank of Punjab (BOP). The funding will be utilised to finish the civic works and build road infrastructure.
