Gujrat: The district coordination officer has formally demanded the elimination of posts created for land revenue record settlement. Catering to this, the Punjab government has transferred two officials of the land record settlement section.
According to a news source, the DCO sought the abolition of the posts in question because the presence of the land revenue record settlement officials was creating disturbance for the senior officials of the department.
