The DC gave these orders during his visit to the sludge carrier and sewage pumping stations in Sargodha. The PHED and metropolitan corporation officials also accompanied him. While there, the DC also reviewed the ongoing work on the waste disposal system — a project with an estimated cost of PKR 380 million.
During his visit, the DC inspected the sludge carrier and disposal stations at Gil Wala Chowk, Sherazi Town, and Ali Park. He also issued orders to disconnect illegal connections for waste disposal. Further, he directed the officials concerned to register cases against those responsible in this matter.
