Multan: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amir Khattak has directed the officials concerned to prepare the PC-1 for all project requests registered on the Citizen Portal and upload their development plans to the said online facility, a news source reported.
He was presiding over a meeting along with Chief Police Officer Zubair Dareshak. The DC directed the relevant officials to upload the PC-1s so to the Citizens’ Portal. He said that people should also be informed of the scheme’s execution following the availability of funds.
The DC also said that inquiries will be launched in case of false complaints against officials, if the complaints are used as blackmailing tools.
CPO Dareshak said he was personally monitoring the complaints appearing on the Citizens’ Portal that were related to the police. He said that these were being resolved on a priority basis.
The officials also revealed that the Citizens’ Portal was receiving, on average, 100 complaints against provincial and federal departments on a daily basis. They said that of the total of 3,423 complaints, 2,515 had been resolved. Similarly, of the 3,089 complaints registered against the police, 3,013 had been resolved – and, 3,486 out of the 3,584 complaints submitted against the waste management company have been resolved.
