Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) extended the date for filing annual income tax returns for the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 to 30th September, as per a news report. The FBR issued this under the Circular No. 2 which said that income tax returns required to be filed through e-portal for salaried individuals due on 31st August 2018, had its due date extended to 30th September 2018.
The date of final taxation under Section 115 (4) has also been extended to 31st September 2018, from 31st August 2018. The FBR has initiated an online portal where all income tax filing can be done online.
