Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has obtained the data of immovable property owned by Pakistanis in Britain, according to a news report. The data is now being analysed for further action.
FBR acquired the data under agreement with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This was a part of the pilot project on exchange of information with OECD countries. The data was obtained with the help of OECD and British tax authorities.
The federal government had earlier given the approval for exchange of the information pilot project to the FBR.
