Peshawar: The provincial government has decided to give Darra Adam Khel the status of an industrial zone for promoting the cottage industry for firearms, which has been prosperous in the area for over a century, according to the news sources.
Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan revealed this decision while inaugurating a gas project in Darra on Monday. He opined that the reason behind granting the industrial zone status to Darra is so that people can make their firearms at homes.
