Islamabad: Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan Rolf Holmboe has appreciated the measures taken by the government to promotes ease of business and attract investment, according to a news report. He said that these steps are necessary and would be useful in attracting foreign stakeholders to Pakistan.
Holmboe made these statements in a meeting with Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood. Dawood told Holmboe that the government was taking investment-friendly measures through tax rationalisation, visa facilitation and other such steps. The ambassador praised these efforts and called for long-term policies to create transparency and trust in international investors. He also assured Dawood of his cooperation in promoting Pak-Denmark trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The abovementioned measures are aimed at enabling a healthy economic environment for domestic and foreign investors.
