Reportedly, the water travelled down from the mountain close to Chew Bridge and caused soil erosion on the road which made it difficult for the vehicles to move. It is also feared that the excessive water flow might carry the road down into Chitral River. The C&W team came and closed the water flow first. Executive Engineer Usman Yousaf tasked the reconstruction of the road to a contractor.
