Khuzdar: Balochistan Chief Secretary (CS) Fazeel Asghar recently reviewed the progress with regard to the execution of the ongoing development schemes in Kalat and Khuzdar districts of the province, a news source reported. The evaluation was made during the CS’s visit to these districts on Sunday.

Asghar inspected various projects being constructed in Khuzdar district; including a Regional Training Centre for Levies, the Shaheed Sikandar Zahri University, a trauma centre and a digital library, and a Commissioner’s Complex. He was briefed on the progress of these projects as well as about the law and order situation of the district by the commissioners.
University Project Director Rehmatullah Zahri told the CS that PKR 2.84 billion had been spent on the construction work so far. Similarly, with regard to the deployment of security forces at the Levies traning centre, he said that Levies personnel from across the province would arrive at the said training facility.

Moreover, contractors for various projects also met with the CS, who lauded the officials concerned on the development work and directed them to meet the projects’ deadlines.
