Lahore: The City District Administration has decided a crackdown against 32 illegal petrol pumps in various parts of the city, reported a news source. The gas stations are constructed on land owned by the government.
On the instructions of Lahore Deputy Commissioner Capt. (R) Anwar-ul-Haq, this operation will be carried out today. Orders in this regard have been issued to the related assistance commissioners of the respective zones. The teams appointed to carry out the operation will also get assistance from the police to avoid any unfortunate situation and also to deal with any resistance.
The petrol pump sites are located on land that belongs to Punjab Forest Department and Auqaf Department.
