Peshawar: Taking notice of the illegal construction activity in Nisar Garden Housing Schemes of Pabi, Jalozai, authorities launched a crackdown and razed several structures, according to a news source. The operation began on orders of Nowshera Deputy Commissioer (DC) Shahid Ali Khan.
As per reports, Nowshera Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)
Qurat-ul-Ain Wazir led the operation, in collaboration with the Town Municipal
Authority (TMA). Notable officials representing the TMA monitored the operation
for smoothness. Furthermore, they also had assistance from the deployed police –
to avoid any unfortunate situation.
Reportedly, the housing scheme’s developer had initiated work without seeking a formal approval from the TMA. This is in addition to that fact that TMA had issued several notices in the past warning the developer of legal actions – if not done so.
Reportedly, the Nowshera DC has directed all the TMA
officials to crack down all developers found carrying out development work
without having an NOC issued for their respective projects.
