Peshawar: The district management has started a crackdown against encroachers in University Town and arrested 15 people, according to a news source. The operation was started on the orders of the Peshawar Deputy Commissioner.
The encroachments in the society have been a source of constant trouble for pedestrians, while frequent traffic jams were also reported. Addressing the complaints, the deputy commissioner has ordered stern legal action. He also said that those seen involved in encroachment activities will be sent behind the bars.
