Islamabad: Pakistan and China on Monday decided to adhere to high-quality construction practices for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, according to media reports. The meeting took place in China’s Sichuan province where the delegations for the dialogue were led by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and China’s State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wany Yi.

During the third meeting of the Foreign Ministers Strategic Dialogue, China’s Foreign Minister emphasised that the countries will increase coordination on international and regional affairs. Both countries discussed regional and global mutual issues during the meeting. A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian, noted that moving forward together requires a high level of mutual support, trust, peace, and growth.
