Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has announced its decision to distribute rations on April 9 among a thousand of deserving citizens, in collaboration with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa and Turkish Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) IHH-NL and Helpline – in an attempt to provide some public relief amid the ongoing adversely COVID-19 pandemic, according to news sources.

The RDA spokesperson revealed that these ration bags will be distributed by RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza, IHH-NL’s Turkish Ambassador Selami Yuksel, General Secretary Ikhlaqur Rehman and other prominent officials – in areas under RDA jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has also partnered up with the Saylani Welfare Trust to distribute rations to hard-hit deserving families amid the coronavirus pandemic-lockdown. Reportedly, PSO is also striving to ensure that the citizens do not have to further suffer in these hard times from the lack of fuel – and have uninterrupted supply.
