Lahore: The Punjab government has launched a locally-manufactured vehicle — called ‘The Mist Queen’ — service for carrying out its antiseptic spray drive for coronavirus infection elimination, a news source reported.

CM Buzdar, who received a demonstration of the said utility, expressed his satisfaction over the initiative, which has been produced using local resources. The officials concerned informed him that the local government spent PKR 175,000 on the production of this antiseptic spray drive facility.
The CM revealed that this vehicle spray the main roads and markets in Lahore. He added that they have manufactured eight of these vehicles for spraying crowded areas across the city. On the other hand, he said that 455 local government departments across Punjab would be able to avail the facility in a phased manner.
With cooperation of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and Rescue 1122, officials concerned were spraying in Lahore to control the spread of the coronavirus infection in the city, the CM said.

Additionally, Secretary Local Government Department said that they would soon introduce the ‘The Mist Canon’.
