Lahore: A local designer recently decided to start production of protective gear for the doctors fighting the novel coronavirus crises in the country, a news source reported. As per the publication, the designer’s team has already come up with a prototype for the said apparatus.

The renowned designer, Asim Jofa, took to his social media channel to share the first fabric prototype of the protective gear for doctors designed by him. He also expressed his gratitude for his team for helping him come up with the prototype’s design and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
After production, the designer intends to distribute the suits and masks among individuals fighting on the front lines during this pandemic. In a recent video, the designer also shared that the Executive Director at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Dr Seemin Jamali had approved his designed prototype protective gear for doctors. He added that following the approval, they plan to put the suits into the production stage.
