Islamabad: The Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) has unsealed Bhara Kahu and Shahzad Town after proper clearance in the wake of coronavirus infection cases previously reported in these areas, a news source reported.

Following the instructions of the Ministry of Health Services, ICT unsealed the two areas after 17 days. The administration had earlier sealed the areas after it detected a number of positive coronavirus infection cases.
A senior official revealed that only a street adjacent to Makki Masjid in Bhara Kahu and a street in Shahzad Town remained sealed. Meanwhile, ICT has continued the disinfection of areas across Islamabad in collaboration with Bahria Town management.

Major markets in both Islamabad and Rawalpindi remained closed due to lockdown imposed due to rapid increase in coronavirus infection cases. These include Karachi Company, Aabpara, F-6, F-7, Peshawar Mor, G-10 Markaz, I-8, Raja Bazaar, Commercial Market, Pindora, and other smaller markets.
