Karachi: The Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) administration has launched efforts to sanitize all public and non-public areas of the society to ensure the wellbeing of residents amid the city’s ongoing coronavirus scare, according to BTK’s official Facebook page.

In the latest sanitation drive phase, the society’s cleaning crew sprayed thousands of gallons of a disinfectant solution through trucks, bowsers and handheld pumps to sanitize all corners of the project.

BTK has also announced a number of safety precautions for residents; advising them to avoid unnecessary movement or social contact by staying at home. Further, the management has requested people to only leave their houses in cases of absolute necessity; such as for buying grocery essentials or medical supplies.
Additionally, BTK has banned any gatherings of more than two people – excluding those comprised of family members.
