Lahore: In an attempt to terminate ‘patwari culture’, the Government of Punjab has started a 15-day course designed to train patwaris, reports a news source. The course will begin on February 12, where 105 patwaris from across the province will be enrolled.
The Revenue Department of Punjab has sent notices to all deputy commissioners in this regard. According to the notice, a 15-day training course by the Management Professional Development Department to train field staff of Revenue Department on modern lines will start from February 12. For this course, the list of 105 field staff from all districts has also been released.
The notice asks the deputy commissioners to ensure that the nominated patwaris attend this course.
