Islamabad: The registration process for the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) will remain open until October 15, according to news sources. As per officials, citizens from all across the country have been invited to apply for registration.
Last month, Prime Minister Imran Khan had launched the second phase of the NPHP project under which the government aims to provide affordable housing facilities to the low-income groups of the country.
The source also reported that in the first 45 days of the registration process that began on July 15, as many as 365,000 people got registered themselves for the scheme; using NADRA’s online registration portal.

This online registration portal of NADRA is offering a clearer picture of the peoples’ housing requirements, including area preferences. Also, many vital statistics like required finances and civic amenities gathered through this portal are providing valuable insights to enhance the project for people.

A comprehensive database, including all this and more vital information, is also in the works. Since NPHP’s launch in October 2018, more than 500,000 people have applied so far.
