Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is set to appear in a ‘Live Telethon Transmission’ for the Corona Relief Fund at 5 PM today (April 10) on Pakistan Television (PTV), a news source reported. The programme is geared towards generating donations for the relief fund.

Senator Faisal Javed Khan revealed that the PM would be joining the transmission via his official Twitter account. He added that the transmission would also be live in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.
The senator stated that people willing to contribute to the Corona Relief Fund can send their donations to NBP Account number: 4162786786. He added that the donations received would help in taking care of those affected during the lockdown imposed for controlling the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Previously, the PM had also participated in an another live telethon transmission for the Corona Relief Fund that aired on April 1. Many individuals from the business community, sports and showbiz celebrities, and others contributed during this transmission.
