Lahore: The management company of cooperative housing societies not following orders issued by the Punjab Cooperatives Department will face the music, reported a news source. To deal with such societies, recommendations are being formed on the orders of Cooperatives Secretary Mansoor Qadir.

It has been observed that official orders issued to the management of cooperative housing societies are often not taken seriously, which explains why a lot of their members have serious complaints against them. To deal with the situation, Qadir has instructed Cooperatives Registrar Kiran Khursheed to prepare recommendations for carrying out legal actions against them.

The number of legal cases piled up against several cooperative housing societies in the province also validates the concerns of Punjab Cooperatives Department. Sources from the Cooperatives Department have also revealed that in order to tackle such developers on legal grounds, help from Punjab Police will also be sought.
