Islamabad: The Ministry of Housing and Works has directed the registered contractors to expedite work on different ongoing housing projects under the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), according to news published on August 15.

Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasey issued the directives to accelerate the pace of work on housing projects in the city including G-13 Chaklala Heights, Kashmir Avenue Apartments, and Skyline Apartments in order to provide modern residential facilities to government employees. As per the details, Chaklala Heights will have 3,432 residential units while Skyline Apartments will have 3,945 units. An official (whose name was not disclosed) mentioned that the minister has ordered the staff concerned to ensure quality and timely completion.

Moreover, it was stated that the FGEHA was also launching other projects for government employees and other segments of society. The advertisement for expression of interest for land sharing has been published in the leading newspapers of different cities. The minister stated the Lifestyle Residency, EHFPRO G-13 is likely to be completed by December 2022, depending on the availability of funds.
