Mansehra: On Wednesday, the Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) and District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Chairman Laiq Muhammad Khan inaugurated a groundbreaking ceremony of the construction work on PKR 240 million Judbah-Thakot roads in Torghar district, according to news sources.

Laiq Khan said that the project is crucial for the Torghar people as it will uplift the economic condition of the area. This road will connect Karakoram Highway and Hazara Expressway in the Tharkot area, which has been an old demand of the local tribesmen.
Moreover, the Chairman stated that has been fighting long for the development and prosperity of the Torghar district. He also mentioned that at his request the Chief Minister has allocated PKR 240 million for the project.

Also, the DDAC chairman welcomed the Rescue 1122 squad and said more staff would be hired, if need be.
