Islamabad: Development work on 12 spots at the Bhara Kahu bypass project is underway simultaneously, according to news published on January 9. As per the details, work is being carried out on at least three underpasses, one interchange, a flyover, and a bridge; which is expected to be completed within the next two months.

The news source quoted the official data citing that the aggregate base at the loop and ramp of the Bhara Kahu Bypass has been completed. The civic agency has started work on the interchange girder, construction of the Shahdara bridge, box culvert and two girder yards. Moreover, construction of three underpasses is underway along with development work on an elevated road.

According to the details shared, 27 piles out of 32 have been poured at the interchange and seven piles have been installed at the Nullah Bridge. It was mentioned that earthwork is in progress while the casting of girders has been started and work related to the casting of piles for the elevated portion is underway at a good pace.
