Lahore: The Punjab government has announced that construction, energy, livestock, agriculture, industry and trade, and other departments will be showcased at Dubai Expo 2020, according to news sources.

In a press conference at the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR), the minister stated that 20 departments will participate in the Expo at different times. Punjab Board of Investment Chief Executive Officer Dr Arfa Iqbal informed that this event will help promote the soft image of the country and highlight investment opportunities in Punjab.
As per details shared, Provincial Energy Minister Akhtar Malik disclosed that the provincial energy department is taking its ‘Solar Revolution’ to Dubai Expo. The green energy potential of Punjab will be exhibited in order to attract investment in the field of energy development.
Moreover, it was revealed that Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the investor portal at the Dubai Expo, which will be organised by the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade. Sharing more details, it was mentioned that Pakistan will host an international business conference, panel discussions, and seminars at the Expo.

Furthermore, Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 attracted over 100,000 visitors within 18 days, which made it one of the busiest pavilions since the event started.
