Narowal: The construction work has started on the road infrastructure in Narowal District after PKR 1.13 billion was released from Annual Development Programme, according to news published on Friday (December 17).

As per the details, Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved the road construction projects and released the required funds for Narowal District. The following are the details about the construction work initiated:
- The two-lane road from Ransiwal railway crossing to Narowal railway station will be developed at the cost of PKR 100 million
- Sialkot railway crossing and Eidgah road from Narowal Railway Station will be constructed at a cost of PKR 40 million
- A road from Eden Rob to Ansari Bakery through Girls College Road at PKR 20 million
- Roads from Baba Karam Shahwali Darbar and Badha Pind to Sankathara at cost of PKR 280 million
- A road from bus stop Tipala Turn to Sankhatra for PKR 50 million
- The road from Shakargarh Road Rangers Headquarters to village Dhalepur for PKR 20 million
- A road from Sharif Chowk to Maiadian Chowk at PKR 70 million
- The road from village Kanjroor to village Badhan Turn via village Dhani Deo Darziwala and Dhani Deo Kalrawala is to be developed at the total cost of PKR 50 million

Moreover, PKR 30 million will be used for Iman Girls High School to Anbala Food Point Road. For a sports gymnasium on Zafarwal Road, PKR 60 million will be utilised. PKR 30 million is set aside for sewerage and streets in Badumlahi Deranwala and Pejuwali villages, whereas PKR 200 million was reserved for sewerage and streets of Narowal city.
