Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has prequalified six construction firms for the development of the Shaukat Khanum Flyover, according to a news source. The project is estimated to cost over PKR 940 million.
The LDA scrutinised the offers received from firms for the construction of the flyover after an approval from the authority’s governing body. The prequalified companies include Frontier Development Works, Habib Construction Services, National Logistics Cell, and Zahir Khan & Brothers.
Out of the estimated PKR 940 million required for the project development, PKR 900 million will be provided by the Government of Punjab, while the LDA will use its own sources to generate the remaining funds.
