Kohat: The government has approved PKR 200 million for the construction of new roads and rehabilitation of dilapidated roads in the PK-82 constituency of Kohat, according to news published on April 30.

The following are the details of the road projects:
- Reconstruction of Shahpur, Kacha Pakha, Tableehi Markaz, and Akbarabad roads
- Rawalpindi highway to Mastoabad, Bahawalnagar, Kanj Kalay Mitha Khan, Happy Valley, Mangal Bibi, Chasma Mitha Khan, Doctor Banda, Defense Colony park, and Merozai
- Construction of roads in Marai and Jara Mitha Khan areas
- Rehabilitation and repair of roads from Hangu Highway to Sawa Lakh graveyard, Shino Khel-Jarwanda, Kaghazai tunnel and irrigation department’s rest house
- Hangu Highway to Sherazai Banda, Chakarkot Bibi, Syed Abad graveyard

Moreover, Provincial Minister of Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan Orakzai shared that a cadet college was approved for the Orakzai district to provide quality education to locals. He also added that the Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has asked him to visit the merged areas and pay compensation to the people for the damage done during the war on terror.
