Islamabad: With funds worth PKR 500 million issued, construction work on the four-lane wide Hub Bypass will start during the current fiscal year, reported a news source. The project is expected to cost PKR 6 billion and it will be developed by the federal government.
The project is of utter importance for easing traffic conditions in the region as it will offload pressure from the roads leading to the city. The federal government is looking to start off with development work on the project during the fiscal year 2018-19 and for this purpose, funds worth PKR 500 million have been issued as a first instalment.
