Gwadar: Construction of Gwadar’s new international airport is likely to start in September, according to a news source. The project is expected to be completed within two to three years, at an estimated cost of PKR 23 billion.
According to details, the Chinese government will provide funds for the construction of Gwadar’s airport. The funds are a part of the grant that was approved during Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent visit to China. The chosen site for the airport spans 43,000 acres and is located 14 kilometres away from the Gwadar City.
